Find and Explore Underground Ruins

Underground ruins are the primary source of rare mod materials and loot. They spawn deep beneath the surface in stone and deepslate layers, so you'll need to mine or cave deep to locate them.

Locating Ruins

Use the /locate structure testmod:<structure> command to find the nearest ruin. Replace <structure> with the specific ruin type you're searching for. The command will display coordinates you can travel to directly.

Alternatively, mine down to the deepslate layer (Y-level 0 and below) and explore caves and tunnels. Ruins are hidden throughout this region and may be partially buried in stone.

Exploring Safely

Bring standard mining equipment: a pickaxe, torches, and food. Ruins may contain hostile mobs or environmental hazards themed after Undertale locations. Light up areas as you explore to prevent mob spawning. Collect any Amalgamation Ingots, decorative blocks, and other materials you find—these are essential for crafting and building.

Check for loot chests within ruin structures; they often contain rare items and trading materials unavailable through normal crafting.
