Using the Stamina and Mana Bars With Magic and Combat Mods

What Drives Stamina and Mana

Stamina and mana bars only fill and drain when a mod supplies those resources. This mod visualizes them; it does not create the underlying pools. Install a magic or combat mod that defines mana or stamina, then the corresponding bar becomes active.

Confirming the Bars Are Wired Up

After adding a resource mod, load a world and perform an action that spends the resource — cast a spell for mana, sprint or attack for stamina. If the bar moves, it is connected. If it stays empty, the resource mod may use a different internal name or may not be supported, in which case the bar will not track it.

Reading the Bars in Combat

Watch the mana bar during fights to avoid running dry mid-cast, and the stamina bar to pace sprinting and dodging. Because bars animate, a quick glance shows whether a resource is regenerating or still depleted. Pair this with the health bar to judge whether to retreat.

Tuning for Combat Readability

If bars are hard to read in fast fights, increase their scale and move them closer to screen center, or disable unrelated overlays (temperature, blood) so only combat resources show. Keep health, stamina, and mana grouped together for a single glance.

When a Resource Mod Is Removed

If you uninstall the mod providing mana or stamina, its bar simply stops updating. Hide it in config to keep the HUD clean until you add a replacement.
