Getting Started with Dwarven Automatons

Finding and Looting Ruins

Travel deep underground or to the End dimension to locate ancient mechanical ruins. Three main structures exist: Blackreach (a massive underground city), Raldbthar (medium-sized halls with active traps), and End Dwarven Observatories (void islands with high-tier loot).

Defeat the mechanical enemies guarding each area, then break open the special loot chests. On servers, each player receives their own separate loot from the same chest.

Crafting Weapons and Armor

Collect scrap metal dropped by defeated machines or found hidden in structures. Smelt the scrap metal into special ingots at a furnace. Use these ingots to craft heavy-duty weapons and armor for tougher combat.

Combat Tips

Enemies use intelligent AI and won't simply walk toward you. Watch for the fast Dwarven Spider scouts, heavily armored Guardians, rolling Dwarven Spheres, and the giant Dwarven Centurion boss that attacks with steam and heavy strikes. Prepare accordingly before engaging.
