Locating Vault Doors

Deepslate Vaults are sealed chambers scattered throughout the Ancient Keep. They appear as locked vault structures, typically featuring a keyhole or activation mechanism. You'll encounter them as you explore deeper into the fortress after completing trials.

Using Echo Keys to Unlock Vaults

Approach a Deepslate Vault with an Echo Key in your inventory. Interact with the vault door using your Echo Key to unlock it. The vault will open, revealing a chamber filled with valuable loot. Each vault contains different rewards, so check multiple vaults to gather diverse supplies.

Collecting Vault Rewards

Inside vaults you'll find food, crafting materials, enchanted items, and most importantly, Echo Charges. Echo Charges are essential for awakening the final boss, so prioritize collecting them. Gather as many Echo Charges as possible—you'll need a significant amount to fully awaken the Last of Deepslate. Take all useful materials and return to explore more vaults with additional Echo Keys.
