How to Find and Loot Dungeons in Dungeonsplus Mod
Locating Dungeons
Dungeonsplus replaces vanilla dungeons with biome-specific structures, so the fastest way to find one is to match the biome to the dungeon type. Cold and Frozen Dungeons appear in snowy and icy biomes, Dusty Tombs in deserts and badlands, Lush Dungeons in jungle caves, Deepwater Dungeons in oceans and dripstone caves, and Infested Dungeons in mountainous terrain. Dig down to typical cave depths and explore cave systems, ravines, and mineshaft intersections — dungeons often generate adjacent to these.
Looting Safely
Each dungeon has a themed mob spawner, so clear the room before opening chests. Bring a bow for skeleton and stray dungeons, a shield for husk tombs, and milk or water for spider dungeons where cobwebs slow you down. Light the room with torches immediately after breaking the spawner to prevent re-spawns. Break the spawner with a pickaxe — you can keep it and place it elsewhere if you want a farm. Chests usually contain standard dungeon loot plus biome-flavored extras, so check every corner, including behind spawners and under stairs.
Avoiding Traps
Some dungeons have collapsing floors or hidden side rooms. Move slowly, watch for gravel and suspicious gaps, and never dig straight down inside a dungeon. If you hear mobs but see none, check walls for concealed openings.
