How to Defeat Each Dungeonsplus Dungeon Type
Matching Gear to the Dungeon
Dungeonsplus dungeons are themed around a single mob, so prepare per biome. Cold and Frozen Dungeons spawn skeletons and strays — bring a shield, a bow, and armor with decent protection; strays apply slowness, so keep a bucket of milk handy. Mouldy Dungeons are zombie rooms: a sword with Smite and a torch to prevent reinforcements works well. Webbed Dungeons are spider fortresses — bring a sword with Bane of Arthropods and clear cobwebs with a shear or sword to keep mobility.
Special Cases
Infested Dungeons in mountains look unstable and are packed with cave spiders — bring milk for poison and block off side tunnels as you go. Lush Dungeons are cramped cave spider nests in jungle caves; fight in doorways to avoid being surrounded. Deepwater Dungeons are underwater and full of drowned — bring Water Breathing, Depth Strider, and a trident or bow. Dusty Tombs are dry and guarded by husks, which don't burn in daylight, so fight them inside the tomb rather than luring them out.
General Tactics
Always break the spawner first if you can reach it, then mop up remaining mobs. Use doors or blocks to create chokepoints. Retreat and heal rather than tanking hits — dungeon rooms are small and easy to get cornered in.
