How to Make Double Doors Open Together

Place Two Matching Doors Correctly

For the mod to link two doors, they must be the same wood type and placed side by side as a normal double door. Place the first door, then place the second door directly against its side while facing the same direction. If the two doors do not form a proper double-door pair, the mod will not treat them as connected and only the clicked door will move.

Open and Close Them

Once placed, simply right-click either door. The mod scans for a connected door-type block and opens both at the same time. Right-click again to close both. You do not need to click the hinge side or any specific half — clicking anywhere on either door works.

If It Does Not Work

• Confirm both doors are the same material. Mixed wood types will not pair.
• Check that the doors are actually adjacent and facing the same way.
• Make sure you are not crouching. Sneaking disables the double-door behavior on purpose, so only the single block you click will open.
• If the doors are far apart, the mod's connection range may be too short. You can raise the maximum distance in the configuration settings.

Using Buttons and Pressure Plates

A single button or pressure plate placed next to one door will also trigger both doors, so you can wire up an entrance without redstone running to each door individually.
