How to Avoid and Escape the Dodo Rex

The Dodo Rex hunts using two senses: it tracks your smell and listens for the sounds you make. To survive, minimize both. Move carefully and avoid sudden noises that might alert it to your location.

Once the creature spots you visually, it will charge to attack immediately—running is your best option. Seek shelter in caves, buildings, or other structures where the beast may struggle to follow. Fighting is risky due to its size and aggression.

Note that the Dodo Rex spawns randomly throughout your world. If you're using multiple world generation mods simultaneously, spawning may become unreliable or fail entirely, so consider disabling conflicting mods if you want consistent encounters.
