Display Non-Food Items on Plates

Enable the Configuration Option

By default, plates only accept food items. To display blocks, tools, or other objects, you need to enable the allow_any_item configuration option in the mod settings.

Place Items on Your Plate

Once enabled, right-click on a placed plate while holding any item—blocks, tools, decorative objects, or anything else in your inventory. The item will appear visually on the plate surface.

Create Decorative Displays

Use this feature to create themed displays on your dining tables or shelves. Mix and match different materials and items to design custom table settings that match your interior design.

Stack Multiple Items

You can place up to 48 items on a single plate, split across different sections. Experiment with combinations to see how items arrange and overlap on the plate surface.

Note on Eating

When allow_any_item is enabled, right-clicking a plate will only consume actual food items. Non-food objects will remain on the plate and cannot be eaten.
