Recover Items from a Grave

Finding Your Grave

When you die, a gravestone block appears at your exact death location. Note your coordinates before leaving the area, or use /gravestone list <your_name> to see all your graves across dimensions.

Opening the Grave

Navigate back to the gravestone's coordinates. Right-click on the grave block to open its inventory. All items you were carrying at death are stored inside—take back what you need.

If you died multiple times near the same spot, check for merged graves. The mod combines nearby graves into a single block if they fall within the merge distance (default: 5 blocks), so your items may be consolidated in one location.

Claiming Items Remotely

If you can't reach the grave immediately, items remain safe. The grave persists until the lifespan expires (default: 72,000 ticks or 1 hour). An admin can use /gravestone claim <your_name> <pos> to transfer grave contents directly into your inventory from anywhere.
