Prevent Item Loss on Death

Understanding Item Loss Settings

By default, the mod saves 100% of your items when you die—nothing is lost. However, if your server has configured a different ItemLostPercentage, a percentage of your inventory may be destroyed upon death for added difficulty.

Checking Your Server Configuration

Ask your server admin to confirm the ItemLostPercentage setting. If it's set below 100%, a portion of items will be permanently lost when you die, and only the remainder will be stored in the grave.

Minimizing Risk

To protect valuable items, avoid carrying everything at once. Store important gear and resources in a secure chest at your base before venturing into dangerous areas. This way, even if you die and items are lost, your most critical possessions remain safe. If the loss percentage is high, consider making multiple trips or using item storage systems to compartmentalize your inventory.
