Display the Compass Ribbon On Screen

Enabling the Compass Display

The Dead Reckoning compass ribbon appears at the top of your screen once activated. By default, the mod displays the ribbon automatically, but you can control when it appears.

Basic Setup

1. Open your inventory and access the mod's configuration menu (the exact location depends on your mod loader, but typically appears in the main menu or pause screen settings).

2. Look for the Dead Reckoning compass options.

3. Enable the compass ribbon display by toggling the main compass option on.

4. If you want the ribbon to show only when holding a compass item, enable the "require compass" setting. Otherwise, the ribbon displays at all times.

5. Close the menu and the ribbon should appear at the top of your screen.

Customizing Visibility

Once enabled, you can toggle individual compass elements on or off:

• Cardinal directions (N, S, E, W)
• Degree markings
• Waypoint markers from connected mods

If the ribbon doesn't appear, verify that the main compass display option is enabled in the configuration menu and that you meet any active requirements (such as holding a compass if that setting is on).
