How to Activate Zoom Mode with the /trigger Command

Running the Trigger Command

DarkZoom works entirely through a scoreboard trigger, so the command you type is /trigger darkzoom. Type it into the chat bar exactly as written and press Enter. Because it is a trigger command, you do not need to be an operator or have cheats enabled in the world — any player can run it, provided the scoreboard objective the mod creates is present on the server.

When the command succeeds, your view immediately zooms in on whatever you are looking at. The zoom holds for a short moment and then releases on its own, returning your field of view to normal. You do not need to press anything to cancel it.

What to Expect

• The zoom is a temporary field-of-view change, not a scoped item or a toggle.
• It lasts only a couple of seconds, so line up your target *before* triggering it.

If nothing happens when you type the command, the trigger objective is probably not registered on that server — this is a server-side feature, so it has to be set up where the world is hosted. On a singleplayer world with cheats on, the mod registers it automatically.
