How to Check Which Mods Depend on Cyclops Core
Cyclops Core is a dependency for several mods by CyclopsMC. Knowing which mods require it helps you troubleshoot load order, version conflicts, and update decisions. You can identify dependent mods through several methods.
Using the Mod List
1. Launch Minecraft and open the mods list from the main menu.
2. Find Cyclops Core in the list. Some mod loaders show dependency information when you click on a mod. Look for a "Dependencies" or "Required by" section.
3. If your mod loader does not show this, check the mod list for mods by the same author or mods you know require Cyclops Core, such as
Integrated Dynamics,
Integrated Tunnels,
Integrated Crafting,
Integrated Terminals, or
EvilCraft.
Checking Logs and Files
1. Open your latest log file in a text editor. Search for "cyclopscore" or "Cyclops Core". Lines mentioning it as a dependency will often list the mod that requires it.
2. Look at the jar filenames in your mods folder. Mods that depend on Cyclops Core often have it listed in their description or metadata, which you can view by opening the jar with an archive tool and reading mods.toml or fabric.mod.json.
Why This Matters
If you remove Cyclops Core, all dependent mods will fail to load. If you update it, dependent mods may break if they are not compatible. Knowing the full list helps you make informed decisions and avoid crashes.
