Getting Started with Cybernetics

Before you can install any robotic parts, you need to find or craft them. Search abandoned laboratories scattered around your world for data shards and basic components. You can also craft parts at the Engineering Table once you've gathered enough materials.

Installing at the Ripper Clinic

Locate a Ripper—a shady Illager doctor found in clinics throughout the world. Approach the Ripper with your robotic part in your inventory. The Ripper will install the part for a price (usually emeralds or other valuables). Once installed, the part becomes active and you'll see visual changes to your character.

Managing Your Resources

After installation, monitor your power level—robotic parts consume energy and need recharging. Also watch your humanity meter. Installing too many parts too quickly can trigger cyberpsychosis or part rejection, causing negative effects. Balance your upgrades with time spent as a normal player to maintain stability.

Start with one limb upgrade to get comfortable with the system before committing to full-body conversion.
