How to Stop Sprinting from Zooming Your Camera

Target the Sprinting Scaling

Sprinting FoV changes are handled separately from other speed effects in this mod. Open the config file and find the FoV Effect Scaling section. Look for the entry labeled for sprinting (distinct from the general speed entry) and set it to 0%. This removes the zoom-out that happens when you start sprinting, while leaving other effects like aiming or flying untouched.

Check the Vanilla Setting Too

This mod's scaling stacks with the vanilla FOV Effects slider in Video Settings. That means even if you set sprinting scaling to 0% in the mod, a high vanilla FOV Effects value can still produce some change. To fully eliminate sprinting zoom:

1. Set the mod's sprinting scaling to 0%.

2. Lower the vanilla FOV Effects slider toward its minimum.

3. Test by sprinting in a straight line and watching the horizon.

If you still see movement, confirm FoV Effect Mode isn't overriding your scaling — set it to Modded only or All so your scaling value is actually read. Reload and sprint again to verify the camera stays steady.
