How to Check Cubic Leaves Is Actually Loaded
Confirm the Pack Is Active
If foliage still looks flat and vanilla, the pack is not being applied. Open Options, then Resource Packs, and look at the right-hand column labeled "Selected." Cubic Leaves must appear there, above the default pack. If it sits in the left column under "Available," click it to move it across.
Verify In-World
1. Load any world and find a tree. Oak is the easiest test since its leaves are common.
2. Look at the leaf block from a few blocks away, then up close. A working Cubic Leaves pack shows a denser, more solid texture with visible blocky volume instead of the thin vanilla cutout.
3. Check a second species, such as spruce or birch, to confirm the per-species designs are loading and not just one texture.
Troubleshooting
- If only some leaves changed, another resource pack may be overriding those textures. Drag Cubic Leaves to the top of the Selected list so it wins conflicts.
- If nothing changed at all, make sure you are not in a world using a datapack that replaces leaf models, and confirm the pack file is a valid zip or folder in the resourcepacks directory.
- Reload with F3+T to force textures to refresh without restarting the game.
