Navigate Multi-Floor Dungeons and Collect Pickups
Understanding Dungeon Layout
Dungeons in Cubic Crypt Descent feature procedurally generated multi-floor layouts with branching paths, stair tunnels, and hidden areas. Each floor contains combat rooms, puzzle chambers, and optional secret vaults. Plan your route carefully—some paths lead to dead ends while others hide valuable rewards.
Clearing Combat Rooms
Mutated mobs in dungeons are significantly tougher than Overworld variants. They cast ranged bolts, teleport during combat, and create shockwaves. Use cover, manage your positioning, and focus fire on dangerous enemies first. Defeating enemies drops dungeon pickups—healing items, keys, bombs, and special charges essential for progression.
Collecting Loot and Resources
Destructible loot caches contain unique rewards ranging from basic supplies to enchanted books and diamonds. Use your collected keys and bombs to unlock these caches. Manage your inventory carefully—you'll need space for healing items and combat supplies.
Progressing Floors
Clear rooms systematically, unlock doors with keys, and advance through stair tunnels to reach deeper floors. Track your objective using the visual objective tracker to stay oriented in the dungeon.
