Moving Creepers Without Triggering Explosions

Since Creepers are now harmless, you can capture and move them for your fireworks setups without the usual dangers.

Capturing Creepers

Use a minecart or boat to transport Creepers:

• Lead them into a minecart on rails
• Push them into a boat on water
• Both methods prevent them from detecting you and detonating prematurely

Alternatively, use a piston system to gently push Creepers into holding areas without triggering their explosion mechanic.

Storage Solutions

Create a holding pen with:

• Solid walls to contain them
• Adequate space so they don't feel crowded
• Minimal lighting to prevent despawning (keep them in loaded chunks)
• Easy access for triggering when you're ready for fireworks

Prevention Tips

• Avoid approaching stored Creepers too quickly—they may still detect and explode
• Keep storage areas away from valuable builds
• Use name tags to prevent despawning of specific Creepers you want to keep
• Separate storage from your main base if you prefer predictability
