Using the Diagnostic Tool

The mod includes a diagnostic tool that displays your current RPM (rotational speed) and SU (Stress Units) in real time. Right-click on any rotating shaft or machine to read its output. This helps you identify bottlenecks—if a machine shows low RPM despite high stress demand, your power source isn't keeping up.

Common Issues

Low RPM: Your turbines aren't producing enough power. Add more turbines, increase steam pressure, or improve fuel supply to your boiler.

High Stress: Too many machines drawing power at once. Either reduce machine count, add more turbines, or use the Gearshift to reduce speed on non-critical machines (trading speed for reduced stress).

Optimization

Check each turbine individually to ensure they're all spinning. Verify pipe connections aren't blocked. Replace old blocks if updating from an older version—the mod changed internal names, and old blocks may not function correctly.
