Build a Steam Turbine Network for Late-Game Power
The Steam Chain
Late-game power demands a complete steam system. Start with a
Steam Boiler—place it and supply it with water and fuel (coal, wood, etc.). The boiler converts water into steam. Pipe this steam using Pressurized Pipes to a
Steam Compressor, which increases the steam's pressure for higher efficiency.
Turbine and Output
Feed compressed steam from the compressor into a
Steam Turbine. The turbine converts pressure into rotational force. Attach a Turbine Shaft to collect power from one or multiple turbines connected in parallel. The more turbines and higher the steam pressure, the more rotational power you generate.
Optimization Tips
Use multiple boilers and compressors to maintain steady steam flow. Monitor your network's stress using the diagnostic tool to ensure your turbines aren't overloaded. Route pipes efficiently to minimize distance and potential pressure loss.
