Tune Suspension for Different Terrain
Understanding Suspension Settings
The suspension wrench controls how your vehicle responds to bumps, slopes, and uneven ground. Four main parameters affect handling: spring strength, damping, drive force, and grip.
Tuning Process
1. Equip the suspension wrench
2. Right-click on any
track mount to open the tuning menu
3. Adjust sliders for spring strength (affects bounce) and grip (affects traction)
4. Test your vehicle on the terrain you're building for
5. Make incremental changes and retest
Copy Settings Across Your Vehicle
Once you find settings that work well, use the wrench's copy feature to apply those same values to all connected track parts. This ensures balanced handling across your entire vehicle.
General Guidelines
Softer springs and higher damping suit rough terrain. Stiffer springs work better on flat ground. Higher grip helps on slopes and slippery surfaces.
