Collect organic materials like leaves, seeds, saplings, and plant matter from your world. These feed into the biofuel production chain.

Setting Up Fermentation

1. Place a Fermentation Vat near a water source or connect it to a water pipe.

2. Insert biomass into the vat's inventory.

3. Add water—the vat mixes these ingredients into liquid biofuel over time.

4. Extract the finished biofuel using pipes or buckets.

Burning Biofuel for Power

Feed your biofuel into a Firebox Boiler to generate steam. The boiler burns the fuel and heats water into steam, which you can then send to a Steam Turbine for rotational power.

Scaling Up

For continuous production, set up an automated farm to grow crops or collect leaves. Use hoppers and pipes to feed biomass into multiple Fermentation Vats. This creates a steady biofuel supply that keeps your boilers running day and night, independent of weather or sunlight.
