Build Your First Flying Vehicle with Thrusters
Assemble the Core Structure
Start by building a frame from any solid blocks—wood, stone, or metal all work. Keep it compact at first; a 3×3×3 cube is ideal for learning. Place a
Physics Assembler adjacent to your block structure. The assembler will convert touching blocks into a physical contraption when activated.
Install and Orient Thrusters
Attach Thrusters to the sides of your assembled craft, facing *away* from the direction you want to move. If you want to fly upward, point thrusters downward. Connect a redstone signal (lever, button, or repeater) to each
thruster to control it individually, or wire them together for synchronized thrust.
Power and Test
Activate your redstone signal to fire the thrusters. The craft should accelerate in the opposite direction. Adjust thruster placement if the vehicle spins or tilts—balanced thrust on opposite sides prevents rotation. Add more thrusters for faster acceleration, or use redstone repeaters to delay activation and fine-tune control. Once stable, your vehicle is ready for obstacle avoidance upgrades.
