Setting Up the Compacting Line

Diamond production is one of the mod's core features. You'll need a Mechanical Press fed by a rotating shaft, a source of coal, and a supply of lava.

Recipe Steps

First, compact coal and lava together using the Mechanical Press to create diamond nuggets. You can then collect these nuggets and press them again to form full diamonds. This requires a steady lava supply—consider using a fluid tank or pump system to keep lava flowing to your press.

To scale up production, use hoppers or chutes to feed coal into the press automatically. Attach a fluid pipe network to deliver lava from a tank or directly from the Nether. The press will output nuggets onto a belt or into a container below.

Once you have enough nuggets stockpiled, run them through a second press cycle to compress them into complete diamonds. This two-stage process is slower than mining but requires no exploration—perfect for late-game automation when you need bulk diamonds for tools or enchanting tables.
