• Gold: Fastest at 2x speed, but gold is less durable conceptually
• Netherite: 1.5x speed with maximum durability and prestige
• Diamond: 1.33x speed as a middle ground

Setup Strategy

1. Craft your chosen high-speed drill head

2. Attach it to a tiered drill from Create

3. Skip enchantments if pure speed is your goal—Fortune and Silk Touch don't affect drilling speed

4. Use this drill for large mining operations, quarries, or strip mining

Pairing with Other Mods

Speed drills work best when paired with Create's other automation features. Use them with conveyor belts and chutes to move mined blocks efficiently. For maximum throughput, set up multiple speed drills on a single ore vein or use them in automated mining setups. Remember: only tiered drills support these heads, so ensure you're using the correct drill type from Create.
