Keep your delivery station loaded when trains arrive

Why you need chunk loading

When a train travels to an unloaded chunk, it stops. Your delivery station won't process items if the chunks aren't loaded. The Station Chunkloader solves this by keeping a 3×3 chunk area active temporarily.

Install the chunkloader

Place a Station Chunkloader block near your delivery station—it should be within the same chunk area you want to keep loaded. Link it to a train station using the standard linking tool (right-click the station, then right-click the chunkloader).

How it works

Whenever a train pulls into the linked station, the chunkloader activates and keeps the 3×3 chunk region loaded for five minutes. This gives your hoppers, inserters, and other contraptions time to move items on and off the train before chunks unload again.

Multiple stations

If you have several delivery points, place a chunkloader at each one and link them to their respective stations. This ensures every stop stays active long enough to complete transfers.
