Control who can request items using compiler permissions
Access the compiler's security settings
Open the
Stock Manifest Compiler interface and locate the permissions panel. This allows you to restrict which players or networks can submit request tickets to your storage system.
Set permission filters
You can filter tickets based on owner (the player who created the ticket) and origin (the base or network the ticket came from). Use name tags to label packages and tickets with custom addresses, making it easier to track and control requests.
Limit ticket sources
Configure the compiler to only accept tickets from specific players, bases, or networks. This prevents unauthorized players from ordering items if you're on a multiplayer server or want to reserve certain stocks for specific production lines.
Use filters on readers
You can also apply similar filters to
Stock Manifest Readers to control which tickets they generate. This creates a two-layer security system: the compiler restricts what gets fulfilled, and the reader restricts what gets ordered.
