Gathering Materials
Before you can build a Mechanical Wolf, you'll need to locate the Illager Workshop structure. Trade with a Cartographer or Wandering Trader to obtain a map, then travel to the workshop location. Defeat the Illager Engineer and Illager Supervisor mobs inside to collect the specialized components required for crafting.
Assembling the Wolf
Once you have the necessary materials from the workshop, craft the Mechanical Wolf using a crafting table or Create mod's crafting interface. The exact recipe uses components found exclusively in the Illager Workshop, so you cannot skip this structure.
After crafting, equip the 
Mechanical Wolf Link in your Curios Head Slot (usually accessed via the Curios inventory tab). This immediately summons your mechanical companion to your side.
Customizing Your Companion
Right-click your newly summoned wolf to open its module interface. This is where you'll install upgrades and customize its abilities. You can also use a standard nametag to give your wolf a personal name, just like a regular pet.
Your wolf starts with basic stats but is ready to receive defensive, offensive, movement, and utility modules to enhance its performance.
