Construct Your Vat Setup

Chemical vats are the core of advanced refining in Create Geology. You'll need:

• Vat blocks arranged in a multi-block structure
• Heat sources (furnaces, lava, or Create heating blocks)
• Piping to move liquids (acids, salts, and water)
• Pumps to circulate materials through the vats

Run Your Refining Process

Load processed ore into the vat system. Add the required chemical liquids—acids and salts—according to the recipe for your target metal. Apply heat to trigger reactions. The vat will gradually convert your materials into usable metal ingots while producing waste byproducts like redmud or waste salts. Monitor the process and collect finished ingots from the output. Plan ahead for waste storage or recycling, as these byproducts accumulate quickly in large-scale operations.
