Find and Craft Items Using a Recipe Viewer

Install a Recipe Mod Alongside Create Fly

Add a recipe viewer like REI, JEI, or EIV to your mods folder. These mods integrate seamlessly with Create Fly and display all crafting recipes, including the new mechanical parts and processed materials the mod adds.

Search for Items in Your Inventory

Open your inventory and search for the item you want to craft. The recipe viewer will show all ingredients needed and which crafting station to use. Many Create Fly machines have custom recipes that only work in specific blocks—the viewer highlights this.

Follow the Crafting Chain

If an ingredient is also craftable, click on it to see its recipe. Work backwards from your goal to find the earliest materials you need to gather. The viewer shows you the complete chain.

Tip: Hover over items in the creative tabs to see their names, then search for them in the recipe viewer if you're unsure what they do.
