Request Specific Liquids Using the Factory Gauge

Equip the Factory Gauge

Craft or obtain a Factory Gauge. This tool lets you request liquids on demand from your logistics network.

Identify Your Liquid Source

Locate a container or tank that holds the liquid you need. This could be a Multi-Fluid Storage Tank, a standard fluid tank, or any connected pipe system.

Request the Liquid

Hold Alt and right-click on the source container while holding the Factory Gauge. This sends a request signal into your logistics network, alerting packagers and transporters that this liquid type is needed.

Alternative: Use a Redstone Requester

If you prefer automatic requests, place a Redstone Requester block near your destination. Configure it to request specific liquids when activated by redstone signals. This works well for automated systems that need liquids on a schedule.

Note: Requests work best when paired with Smart Faucets or Fluid Transporters that are configured to respond to demand signals. Ensure your network has packagers ready to fulfill requests.
