How to Encase Pipes

Setting Up Your Pipe Network

Place fluid or item pipes from the Create Mod in your build. Decide on a casing material that matches your factory design or helps organize different pipe systems by color.

Applying Casing to Pipes

Right-click on a pipe while holding your chosen casing block. The pipe will be encased and will now display the casing material on its exterior while maintaining full functionality for fluid or item transport.

Organizing with Casings

Use different casings to color-code your pipe systems—for example, copper casings for water lines, brass for pressurized systems, or andesite for general transport. This makes your factory easier to navigate and maintain.

Removing and Changing

Right-click an encased pipe with an empty hand to remove the casing, or right-click with a new casing block to swap it directly. Pipes remain fully functional throughout the encasing process and continue to connect normally to adjacent pipes and machines.
