Craft and Assemble Your First Robot

Gathering Materials

Before you can build a mechanical companion, you'll need to collect the necessary crafting components. Most robots require standard Create mod materials like andesite, brass, and copper ingots, along with mechanical components such as shafts and gears. Check your crafting recipes in-game to see the exact ingredient list for each robot type.

Assembly Process

Once you have all materials, use a crafting table or Create's assembly line to combine them into your chosen robot. The assembly follows standard Create recipes—you can hand-craft smaller robots or use mechanical crafters for efficiency.

After crafting, place your robot in the world. It will spawn as a non-functional unit until you fuel it. Right-click to interact with it and verify it's ready for use. Your new companion won't move or perform tasks until it has fuel in its inventory.

First Fuel

Give your robot coal, charcoal, or blaze cakes to activate it. Once fueled, it will begin operating and respond to commands based on its type—the Anole will follow you, the Oxhauler will haul items, and the Replete will transport fluids.
