Use Head Aiming Mode for Fine Adjustments

Activating Head Aiming

While your scope view is open, press H to activate remote head aiming mode. This lets you make fine adjustments to your cannon's aim by moving your mouse, separate from your character's actual head rotation.

How Head Aiming Works

In this mode, your mouse controls the cannon's aim direction directly, not your player's camera. This means you can keep your view steady while rotating the cannon smoothly toward your target. It's especially useful for precision shots where small adjustments matter.

Automatic Pause During Gear Rotation

If your cannon uses gear-driven turrets, head aiming automatically pauses while the mechanisms turn. This prevents conflicting inputs and ensures smooth, predictable rotation. Resume aiming once the gears finish moving.

Combining with Zoom

Head aiming works seamlessly with zoom levels. Zoom in to 4x or 8x magnification, then use mouse movement for pixel-perfect targeting. This combination is ideal for hitting small or distant objectives.

Exiting Head Aiming

Press H again to deactivate head aiming and return to normal scope control.
