Build a Multi-Function Control Panel with Buttons and Levers
Design Your Panel Layout
Create a Modular Desk and plan where each control will go. Beyond steering and throttle, you can add simple buttons and levers for secondary functions like cargo doors, landing gear, or weapon systems.
Add Buttons and Levers
Craft Control Buttons and Control Levers. Snap them onto your desk alongside your primary controls. Each button outputs a redstone pulse, while levers output continuous redstone signals that you can toggle on and off.
Wire Secondary Systems
Route redstone from each button and lever to the corresponding ship systems. Use redstone wire, repeaters, and comparators to control doors, pistons, dispensers, or other mechanisms. Label each control clearly so you remember what it does during flight.
Test All Functions
Before taking off, activate each button and lever from your seat to confirm every system responds correctly. Adjust redstone signal strengths if mechanisms activate too slowly or too quickly. A well-organized panel makes flying safer and more enjoyable.
