How to Add Croptopia Crates and Bags to Your Kitchen Storage

Installing the Croptopia Add-On

Crate Delight: Croptopia adds over 50 new crates and bags specifically for Croptopia crops. Make sure both Crate Delight and Croptopia are present, then load a world so the new recipes register. Open your recipe viewer (JEI or REI) and search "crate" or "bag" to see the full list of Croptopia-compatible storage blocks.

Crafting Croptopia Crates

Each Croptopia crate uses the corresponding crop as its filler ingredient plus the standard crate base. For example, a tomato crate uses tomatoes, a corn crate uses corn, and so on. Because there are dozens of crops, the fastest approach is to search the recipe viewer for the specific crop you just harvested and click the crate recipe to auto-fill the grid.

Building a Kitchen Wall

Set up a dedicated kitchen or pantry room and line one wall with crates for your most-used crops (tomatoes, onions, rice, etc.) and another wall with bags for processed goods. Group by category: vegetables on one side, fruits on the other, grains in the middle. Use item frames showing the crop above each crate so you can grab ingredients at a glance while cooking. This turns a messy chest room into a visually appealing, searchable pantry that matches the Croptopia cooking loop.
