Craft Your First Portable Workbench

Gather Your Materials

You'll need a stick and the workbench block you want to make portable. For example, to create a Crafting Table on a Stick, collect one stick and one crafting table.

Use the Crafting Recipe

Open your crafting grid. Place the stick and the workbench block together according to the mod's recipe pattern—typically the stick goes in one slot and the workbench in another. The exact layout depends on which workbench you're crafting.

Retrieve Your Portable Item

Once crafted, you'll receive a portable version of that workbench. This item can be held in your inventory or toolbar without taking up a full block space.

Use It Anywhere

Simply hold the portable workbench in your hand and right-click to open its interface. You can now craft, cut stone, repair items, or perform other workbench functions without placing anything on the ground. This is especially useful when you're traveling, building far from your base, or working in tight spaces where block placement is inconvenient.
