How to Control Playback (Play, Pause, Skip) Without Leaving Minecraft
Finding the Controls
Craftify exposes playback controls through its in-game overlay and through keybinds. Open the mod's settings to see which keys are bound to play/pause, next track, previous track, and volume. If the defaults clash with another mod, rebind them here. The overlay can usually be toggled so it only appears when a track changes or when you hover over it.
Using the Overlay
With a service connected, the overlay shows the current song. Clicking the play/pause button sends the command to your music client, so the audio responds immediately even while you are mining or fighting. Use the skip buttons to move through your queue. Because the commands go to the external client, the song keeps playing if you close Minecraft — Craftify is a remote, not a player.
Adjusting Volume
Volume control in Craftify changes your music client's output, not Minecraft's sound settings. If you want game audio and music balanced separately, set Minecraft's volume with its own sliders and use Craftify for the music side. This lets you keep footsteps and mob sounds audible while music plays underneath.
When Controls Do Not Respond
If buttons do nothing, the connected client has likely closed or logged out. Reopen it and the controls resume working without reconnecting.
