Set Up Your Island Base for the First Time

Creating Your Safe Haven

When you start a new world with Craftics installed, your first step is to establish your island base—a survival-mode area where you'll craft, smelt, and prepare between combat runs.

Steps:

1. Spawn into your new world

2. Open chat and type /new to generate your starting island

3. The command creates a safe zone with basic structures and resources

4. Explore your island to find the Level Select block—this is your gateway to tactical battles

Preparing for Combat

Once your base exists, use it to gather materials and improve your gear before entering your first run. You can mine, farm, and craft normally here without time pressure or enemies. When you're ready to begin a level, interact with the Level Select block to choose your first biome and difficulty. After each battle, you'll return here to process loot, upgrade equipment, and prepare for the next challenge.

Your island is your anchor point—treat it as a hub for all preparation and crafting needs.
