Optimize Your Storage System's Performance

Understand Configuration Settings

The mod offers three main settings: Storage Search Radius controls how far the workbench looks for containers, Maximum Highlighted Containers limits how many chests show markers at once, and Container Scan Interval determines how often the system checks for new or removed containers.

Adjust Search Radius for Your Layout

If your storage room is large, increase the search radius so all containers connect. If you want a smaller, focused storage area, decrease it. Larger radius values may slightly impact performance.

Set Refresh Intervals

The Content Refresh Interval controls how often stored items update in the display. Lower intervals keep your inventory view current but use more resources. Adjust based on how frequently you add or remove items.

Monitor Performance

If you experience lag, reduce the search radius, lower refresh frequency, or limit the number of highlighted containers. Start with default settings and adjust only if needed.
