Configure Custom Sky Overlays with Skybox Mods
Enabling Anime Sky Overlays
The CPvP Umi Asanagi pack includes custom anime-style sky artwork, but to see animated or dynamic skies, you'll need a compatible skybox mod.
Setup Steps
1. Ensure the resource pack is loaded in your resource pack folder and activated in-game
2. Install a compatible skybox mod like Nuit or Skyboxify (Fabric versions)
3. Launch Minecraft and navigate to Options > Resource Packs to confirm the pack is enabled
4. Load into a world and look upward—the custom anime sky should replace the vanilla gradient
5. If using a skybox mod, check that mod's configuration menu for additional sky customization options
Troubleshooting
If the sky appears vanilla blue:
- Verify the resource pack is at the top of your active packs list
- Check that your skybox mod is installed and enabled
- Restart Minecraft completely
The anime sky overlays work best at dawn and dusk when the vanilla sky transitions occur. Custom skies may not display in the Nether or End dimensions.
