Fix Grass Slab Color Issues
Problem: Grass Slabs Appear Wrong Color
If grass slabs in your world look discolored or don't match regular grass blocks, this is a known compatibility issue with certain mods.
Solution: Disable Quark's Greener Grass
The most common cause is the Quark mod's "Greener Grass" feature, which changes grass coloring in ways that don't apply correctly to slabs.
Steps:
1. Open your mod config folder (usually .minecraft/config)
2. Find and open the Quark configuration file
3. Locate the "Greener Grass" option
4. Set it to false or disable it
5. Save the file and restart Minecraft
Your grass slabs should now display with the correct color matching your biome.
Alternative: Use the Resource Pack
If you prefer to keep Quark's Greener Grass feature enabled, the mod includes a resource pack with partial visual fixes for slabs. Enable it in your resource pack list to improve slab appearance across your world.
