Configuring Mods That Use CorgiLib

Finding Configuration Files

Mods using CorgiLib store settings in .json5 files located in your config folder. These files are human-readable and include comments explaining each option.

Editing Configurations

Open the relevant .json5 file with any text editor (Notepad, VS Code, etc.). The comments above each setting explain what it does. Make your changes and save the file.

Applying Changes

Restart your game for configuration changes to take effect. Some mods may require a full world reload rather than just restarting the launcher.

Common Settings

Configs typically control mod behavior like feature toggles, numerical values for balance, or enable/disable options. Since CorgiLib is a library, you won't configure CorgiLib itself—you configure the mods that depend on it.

Reverting Changes

If a config breaks something, delete the .json5 file and restart. CorgiLib will regenerate it with default values.
