Perform a Barrel Roll

Prerequisites

Barrel rolls require Realistic flight mode to be active. Switch to it using your keybind before attempting this maneuver.

Executing the Roll

1. Launch into the air and gain some altitude

2. Pitch your camera slightly downward (move mouse forward)

3. While pitching, roll your camera by moving your mouse left or right—the direction determines your roll direction

4. Maintain smooth, continuous input as you complete a full 360° rotation around your forward axis

5. Level out by centering your camera once the roll is complete

Tips

• Start slowly until you get a feel for the control sensitivity
• Use your strafe keys (A/D) in combination with mouse movement for tighter control
• Holding sneak while rolling can swap your control scheme, giving you alternative input methods
• Practice over water or flat terrain first to avoid crashing into obstacles
• Adjust roll smoothing in the mod settings if rotations feel too jerky or sluggish
