Making Blindness Useful for Stealth and Mob Avoidance

How Blindness works here

In vanilla, Blindness is mostly a punishment. Convenient Effects reworks it so the strength scales with the potion level, and mobs affected by it have a reduced detection range. That turns it into a genuine stealth tool for both you and anything you apply it to.

Stealth tactics with Blindness

1. Brew or obtain Blindness potions, then apply them to hostile mobs using splash or lingering variants. Thrown at a group, they'll have a harder time noticing you.

2. Move through the affected area while crouching. Reduced detection plus low profile makes it much easier to slip past guards, mobs in farms, or dangerous spawns.

3. Use higher-level Blindness for a stronger effect. The mod scales the effect with level, so a stronger potion means a bigger reduction in detection range.

4. Pair it with other effects like Invisibility or Night Vision so you can still see while your targets can't.

When to use it

Blindness is great for sneaking through mob-dense areas, escaping a bad fight, or setting up ambushes. Remember that it affects you too if you drink it, so use splash versions carefully and keep your distance from the cloud.
