Improving Fire Resistance and Night Vision Visibility

Fire Resistance without the flame overlay

Normally, Fire Resistance still leaves you covered in flames and keeps you on fire briefly after leaving lava. Convenient Effects fixes both: you stop burning once you leave the source, and the flame overlay is hidden so your view stays clear.

1. Drink a Fire Resistance potion before entering lava or fighting fire-based mobs.

2. Swim through lava with a clear screen instead of a wall of orange flames.

3. When you climb out, you won't keep burning, so you can move on immediately.

4. When the effect ends, it fades out smoothly rather than cutting off abruptly.

Night Vision without the flicker

Vanilla Night Vision flickers harshly as it expires. This mod removes that flicker and gives you a clean, gradual transition back to normal lighting.

1. Activate Night Vision through a potion or beacon.

2. Explore caves, oceans, or the Nether with steady, bright vision.

3. As the effect runs out, watch for a smooth fade instead of a jarring flash.

Combining them

Stack both effects for lava diving or Nether exploration. Clear vision plus no lingering flames makes hazardous areas far more manageable, and the smooth transitions mean you're never caught off guard when an effect ends.
