Set Up a Life-Link Contract with Another Player

Prepare the Materials

Ask your partner to craft a blank contract paper. You'll need to obtain a red or pink candle—the color represents the life-link bond. Shave the candle using a knife or similar tool to collect colored wax, then craft this wax into a stamp.

Sign the Contract

Hold the blank contract in one hand and the colored stamp in the other. Right-click on your partner while holding both items. They must accept the agreement. Once signed, your health pools merge into a shared total.

Understand the Consequences

You now share one health bar between both players. This means you effectively have double the hearts, but if either player takes fatal damage, both players die instantly. When you respawn after a life-link death, you'll have reduced hearts temporarily until the effect wears off.

Use this contract strategically—it's best for trusted teammates in cooperative survival situations. Consider the risk before engaging in dangerous activities together.
