Create a Resource Pack with Continuity Textures
Understanding the CTM Format
Continuity supports the Optifine/MCPatcher connected textures format, meaning any resource pack designed for Optifine will work. You can create your own by following the same structure.
Resource packs using Continuity need:
- Texture files in
assets/minecraft/textures/block/ - Configuration files in
assets/minecraft/optifine/ctm/(following Optifine's naming conventions) - A
pack.mcmetafile describing your pack
Testing Your Pack
1. Place your resource pack folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks/
2. Open Settings → Resource Packs and enable it
3. Load a world and check if your connected textures appear
4. If textures don't connect, verify your configuration files match Optifine's CTM format specifications
Continuity also supports emissive textures and custom block layers if your pack includes them. Refer to Optifine documentation for these advanced features, as Continuity maintains full compatibility with that format.
