Signs Look Different Than Expected

If signs don't appear with the consistent shading or updated handle styling, verify your resource pack is properly applied.

Checking Your Setup

1. Confirm activation: Open your resource packs menu and ensure the Consistent Signs Resource Pack is listed in the active packs (right side), not available packs (left side).

2. Check load order: If multiple resource packs are active, move Consistent Signs higher in the list to ensure it takes priority.

3. Restart the game: Close and reopen Minecraft completely—sometimes changes don't apply until a full restart.

4. Verify all sign types: Check both classic signs and hanging signs in your inventory. Both should show the updated appearance.

Still Not Working?

• Clear your resource pack cache by deleting the shader cache folder
• Ensure you're using a compatible Minecraft version
• Try creating a new world to see if the issue persists
• Disable other resource packs temporarily to rule out conflicts

Once properly applied, the changes should be immediately visible on all sign variants throughout your world.
